2013 Syrah
Red Mountain, Washington State
Tasting Notes
Ripe black cherry, violet and raspberry aromas follow through on the palate. Flavors of ripe blackberries, plums and mineral carry through with fine grained tannins on the finish.
Vintage
Bud break occurred much earlier than normal, with above average temperatures leading through September. At this point we experienced a period of cooler temperatures extending through harvest, in to early November with well balanced ripeness.
